General Meeting November 20, 2020
The HAPLD Friends Foundation members met via ZOOM.

Secretary’s Report
The minutes from the October meeting were reviewed. Nancy Hardy moved to accept the minutes, Janis Ruffino seconded, the motion carried.

Current balance is $8229.58 plus the $120,000 CD.

Holiday Basket Raffle
Pamela displayed the five Baskets:
- $200 in cash
- Grocery gift cards: $100 Meijer, $50 Jewel, $50 Trader Joes
- Lottery Tree: $200 in lottery tickets plus light up Christmas tree
- Nintendo Switch system
- Stay at home basket: $50 pizza gift card, games, puzzle, candy, popcorn
A poster publicizing the raffle is at the Library entrance. The Baskets are on display behind the Circulation Desk. Boxes for tickets are on the table by the Card Catalog computer. Orders for tickets may be mailed in or ordered online.
Very Merry Huntley
Dolton LaCassa and Doug Cataldo created an Activity Book for Huntley. It will be available with a gift bag at the Library beginning December 1.
Library Report
The Library is open regular hours. Materials when they are returned to the Library are in quarantine for 3 days. Late fees are no longer being charged. The building program will be entering Phase 2 in late February the Library will be closed for a few weeks to move everything from the original building into the addition. The temporary entrance will be on the east. An employee will be stationed by the entrance to help entering/leaving the building. The Book Drops will no longer be available. Hold pickup and return will be available from the parking lot. The entrance to the new parking lot will be from Main Street.
