What Does The Friends Foundation Do?
The Friends support and advocate for the Huntley Area Public Library through volunteering and fundraising efforts. In 2013 we donated over $63,000 to library. In 2014 we donated nearly $43,000.
The Friends Foundation is a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of volunteers who are proud of our library and are dedicated to helping the library serve as a reading and learning resource in our community. The Friends provide this support through volunteering and by raising funds through membership dues, book sale revenues, and other fundraising events.
