General Meeting August 20, 2021
The HAPLD Friends Foundation members met via ZOOM.
Those in attendance: Dottie Bobzin, Carol David, Deanna Engelke, Joan Longmire, Melanie Lopiccolo, Ron Mangold, William Peters, Janis Ruffino, Judy Schrader, Reta Stoh, Pat Totman, Marge Smith, and Pamela Kampwerth, Head of Programming and Outreach.
Pamela opened the meeting at 11:05 a.m.
New Logo
Pamela showed the new Friends logo and asked for input. It was well received.
Financial Review 2021

What Have We Been Doing?
This year connections with members have been done by Zoom Board Meetings, Zoom General Meetings, Emails, and Newsletters.
Fundraising
Corner Books
Fall Fest: September 25-26. The book sale will be inside, masks will be required. Volunteers will be needed for 2-hour shifts.
Fall Basket Raffle: October 20-November 18. Eight baskets
Culver’s: October 11, 4-8 p.m.
Breakfast Fundraiser: October 20, 9:30 a.m. Boulder Ridge. R.J. Lindsey as Marshal Field
First Look (of completed Library): Late November?
Giving Tuesday: November 30
Library Update
The library will be closed October 11-19 for parking lot construction. The remodel is on schedule. The remodeled library is scheduled to be turned over November 15. Then furniture will be ordered and the departments moved from addition. s Pam showed photos of the current construction in the original building,
Next meeting will be the October breakfast fundraiser.
