General Meeting April 15, 2022
The HAPLD Friends Foundation members met in Program Room 2.
Those in attendance: Carol David, Nancy Hardy, Genevieve Hochwarter, Candace Maloney, Michele May, Shirley Nowak, Sharon Peacock, Janis Ruffino, Marge Smith, Penny Thoma. Staff: Pamela Kampwerth, Head of Programming and Outreach
At 11:05, President Genevieve Hochwarter called the meeting to order.
Program
“Protecting Your Plants from Critters” by Kathleen Carr
Secretary’s Report
Nancy Hardy moved to approve March meeting minutes, Carol David seconded, the motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report
Carol David presented the financial statement showing a balance of $27,801.89. The facility for the May breakfast and the speaker have yet to be paid. Janis Ruffino moved the statement be accepted, Shirley Nowak seconded, the motion passed unanimously.
May Meeting
162 tickets have been sold for the Breakfast on May 11 at Boulder Ridge.
June Evening meeting
June 17, 6:30 p.m., Program Rooms 1 and 2, Program: Debra Ann Miller as Agatha Christie presents, “A Body of Evidence”; PLEASE REGISTER on the library’s website (hunltylibrary.org) by clicking on the PROGRAMS Tab, go to June 17th and register.

Committee Members needed are needed to plan the event. Volunteers are asked to let Pamela or Genevieve know.
Nominations
Nominations for Friends board members will be in July. If you want to run for the board, there are two open seats. Talk to Genevieve or Pamela if you have questions about serving on the board or want to run for one of the open seats.

At 12:15, Genevieve Hochwarter moved to adjourn the meeting, Nancy Hardy seconded, the motion passed.
