General Meeting April 21, 2023
The HAPLD Friends Foundation members met in Program Room 2
Those in attendance: Diane Becker, Connie Corwin, Carol David, Deanna Engelke, Nancy Hardy, Diane Hoerter, Genevieve Hochwarter, Karen Hutchings, Jeannette Lohan, Marsha Natkins, Janis Ruffino, Susan Schwartz, Mary Ann Schopen, Pat Totman, and Karen Zarembski. Staff: Pamela Kampwerth, Head of Programing and Outreach
Pamela Kampwerth called the meeting to order at 11:03. She introduced Kathleen Carr from The Growing Scene.
PROGRAM
Today’s presentation was: “Watering: The Key to Your Plants’ Success.”
Kathleen began by asking what topics we wanted her to cover. She answered all our questions and gave many more tips on how to water to keep our plants healthy.
SECRETARY’S REPORT
Nancy Hardy moved to accept the March minutes. Carol David seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Connie Corwin moved to accept. Karen Hutchings Seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Checking account balance is $60,742.38.
FUNDRAISERS
Culver’s Night raised $954.40
- May 10 – Fundraiser Breakfast at Boulder Ridge C.C. 51 tickets have been sold so far.
- June 10-11 Book Sale at the library.
GENERAL MEETINGS
- No May Meeting
- June 16, 6 to 7 p.m. Program by Debra Ann Miller: “Nellie Bly”
Carol David moved to adjourn the meeting. Nancy Hardy seconded. Motion passed.
