At 11:05 a.m. Vice President Janis Ruffino called the meeting to order.
Pamela Kampwerth will be retiring at the end of the month. Janis thanked her for her years of support. Lisa Rossi-Moser, the new Head of Programing and Friends’ liaison was introduced.
Secretary’s Report
Carol David moved the December minutes be approved, Genevieve Hochwarter seconded, the motion was approved.
Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer Carol David presented the treasurer’s report. Bank account: $61,033.23; CD: $80,394.43.
Genevieve Hochwarter moved the treasurer’s report be approved, Judy Schrader seconded, the motion was approved.
Baubles & Bling – recap
Just over $900 was raised. Some items were on sale at the meeting.
Nominations
Changed by-laws last fall, nominations now occur in March. If anyone wants to run for the Board, let a board member know.
Upcoming Fundraisers
March Book Sale –Help is needed for Saturday and Sunday; March 15 & 16, 2025
Culver’s of Huntley Fundraiser Night–Monday April 7, 4 to 8 p.m.
New guidelines from Culver’s: 6 servers per hour, no cellphones while volunteering, closed- toed shoes, longhair pulled back, must wear a hat and apron
May fundraising breakfast; Help the Friends find new sponsors. Limited to 80 tickets; Program Marshall Field’s
Program: Trivia hosted by Vito Benigno

April- Growing Scene, Inc.
May- No Meeting Luncheon. Tickets on sale April 1- May 7
Penny Thoma moved the meeting adjourn, Shirley Nowak seconded, the motion passed.
