General Meeting March 18, 2022
The HAPLD Friends Foundation members met in Program Room 1.

At 11:05, President Genevieve Hochwarter called the meeting to order.
Director’s Report
Frank Novak, Director, gave an update on the building project. The architects are working on an outdoor sign for the corner of Ruth and Main Street, a design for a connection to Parisek Park and a correction for the drive-up and drop box. Furniture is being delivered now through July.
Secretary’s Report
Carol David moved that the February secretary’s report be accepted. Nancy Hardy seconded. The motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer’s report a balance of $23,523.64 and $100,286.30 (7mo. CD). Reta Stohs moved to approve the treasurer’s report, Judy Schrader seconded, the motion passed.
Program
The video “Meet Your New Library” was viewed.
April General Meeting
Kathleen Carr will be presenting “Protecting Your Garden From Critters”
Culver’s Fundraising Night
The next Culver’s night is Monday, April 4, 4 – 8 p.m.
More volunteer runners are needed.
April/May Book Sale
Book Sale; April 29 (Members only), April 30 and May 1. Volunteers are needed for all shifts.
Breakfast Fundraising Program
The Breakfast is Wednesday, May 11 at Boulder Ridge Country Club. Sarah Sullivan will present “Marshal Field’s and Chicago”. Sponsorship letters will be mailed in soon. Tickets go on sale April 1: $35 each.
